The lobster bisque was amazing! The desserts were very good, also. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. We will return the next time we visit Boone!

Artichoke dip was one of the best we've ever had! Ribeye and linguine were great. We asked for bread; so good. Our drinks stayed full. We had the peanut butter chocolate ice cream pie...so yummy! The building/atmosphere is in need of an update; outside looked really nice. Our bill with tip and tax was 100. The ribeye was 35. The linguine was under 20. The dessert was 7. Soup, salads, sandwiches are available - at a cheaper price point... .but we were in the mood for steak. Tldr: would recommend and would go again.

The Red Onion never disappoints. This is a must stop location every time we are in Boone. Love the lunch specials where you can pick two items.

On Father's Day this year, we traveled to the Blue Ridge Parkway with a stop for dinner at Red Onion. We met our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter there. We were pleasantly surprised it wasn't jam packed. We sat inside and we were greeted very quickly by our server. Excellent service. The food was excellent as well. I had the veggie pizza, which was packed with ingredients. My wife had a salmon salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. So glad we stopped in. It's not our first visit. They have plenty of options to pick from the menu. I'd recommend. We'll be back.

The food was creative and delicious, and the service was very good here. We ordered the Mushroom Lasagna, Greek Pasta, Tuscan Red Pepper Chicken, French Onion Soup, and Artichoke dip. All our food was delicious and I would recommend any dish we tried, especially the Artichoke dip. It was unique and heavy on the artichokes, served with perfectly toasted little bread slices. Nice bar too, I tried a lavender lemonade. We will be back when visiting Boone!

Our server was really great, she was a little (got 3 tables at the same time!) but she handled it perfectly! I wish I could remember her name, I think it was Maddie. The food was absolutely delicious, best French onion soup I've had in a long time! The ad said there was a view, but I didn't see one, that's alright the soup and sandwich made up for it!

We ate here several times during our recent stay in Blowing Rock. We were so happy to find a restaurant where the vegetable selection extended beyond french fries and fried pickles and it was great to find something other than a chain restaurant! Food was excellent, we were able to find several vegetarian friendly menu items, and the staff was very accommodating and delivering extra steam vegetables! They also have a full bar! On successive nights, we received excellent service from Joy, Grant, and Tatum. We also struck up conversations with others on the patio on two of our visits so we know the restaurant draws a nice, friendly crowd! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and certainly this would be my go-to restaurant if I ever had the pleasure to return to town.
